Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Muqdad told Iran’s Arabic-language Al-Alam television that “Turkey nowadays trains and allows in terrorists, allows in Al-Qaeda. Most of the terrorists in Syria come from Turkey,” and that “This needs to be tackled, because if Turkey does not respond to this issue then Turkey should be put on the list of nations supporting terrorism.”
This for one thing should, firstly, indicate to us that Turkey is a bigger threat than most of us think, and secondly, compel us to realize that the Syrian revolution is a in fact an Islamic fundamentalist uprising.
